Make the m12SD take silenced ammo by default

When you take the mk12 SD if there are in the same box the default not silenced ammo( 20Rnd_556x45_Stanag) it takes that by default instead of a silenced one(30Rnd_556x45_StanagSD). And it's troublesome because the IA will act like you where shoting with a non silenced weampon.

So what i suggest its that the mk12 SD take the 30Rnd_556x45_StanagSD by default, or make a especial silenced round for it , maybe ACE_20Rnd_556x45_StanagSD ? :P

This does not apply in ACE.
Supersonic ammunition magazines are changed behind the scenes so the AI won't hear the weapon. This goes for all silenced weapons.
SD magazines are reserved for subsonic ammunition.

It does apply, but not to AI. This should be modified because it affects PVP, not Coop. AI won't hear it, but if I'm correct, players will still hear it. As such, it still applies, just not as specified.

The sys_magazines system automatically exchanges magazines to the correct ones, but only for player units.
However maybe it is broken or does not include the magazine setup for the Mk12.
Not sure what you meant VKing, as the actual magazines need to be switched to silenced ones, but indeed for the AI, due to the different audibleFire etc settings.

Well, if an AI equipped with a silenced weapon and non-silent ammo doesn't get silenced ammo from sys_magazines, something needs to be done about that, somehow.
The mission maker could just add the correct ammo to the units though.

I was testing today an you are right, i think that it was just that te ia saw us or something.... strange things of Arma2 IA, i thought that whe were heared for use standard ammo( 20Rnd_556x45_Stanag) on the mk12 SD, but testing today the IA didn't detect me.

I think that this can be closed sorry, i will test a little more the next time

Dont forget guys, in real life i believe standard ammo is used more often in suppressed weapons than SD ammo - so in fact a system stopping this is unrealistic.
