Description

AI units use it very strangely, they go through walls and sandbags and don't use entrance!
For US model, I haven't seen such thing.

Field Hospitals (FHs, to be short) from Warfare cannot be used by AI: AI can get inside US FH and cannot get out of it, and AI cannot even get inside RU FH, and also cannot get out of it.

Also, when inside other Tents are several AIs they often cannot get out of Tent together (move, doMove commands, using sleep don't help).

Indoor AI behaviour in other objects is also very strange!

in simple demo mission everything works, except the thing that AI goes through Russian Field Hospital and behaves very strangely, but in my mission, when I order AI to get out, they come to FH's entrance and get stuck.

If I give that mission to you, you will spend an hour searching into it i think, it is complicated,
I can tell the idea of it:

1. there is a script, which runs every 60 seconds and queries an array of units (with a 5 sec delay between unit). if unit has no weapon it makes him search for nearest ammo crate or dead body. when corpse is close to him, he goes to it, looks for his weapon, and when he finds it in N'th corpse, he looks for nearest town to go and goes there. if he sees crate closer than corpse, he goes to crate, on this script ends. this works fine.

2. second script is run for every crate and queries nearest soldiers, gives them weapons and orders them to go to nearest town. this works fine too. (this script takes control over the unit that has chosen to find a crate instead of corpse).

3. The first script also does following: if unit has weapon and is near one of his destination point (which i store in a unit), then he raises a flag there and goes to next town. this works fine.

4. but there's third script, which is run when unit respawns. it teleports him to the field hospital (one from a list) and then tells to go either to corpse or to crate. But AI cannot get out of FH in this script. He goes to the entrance of a FH and freezes.

I forgot one important note: if I teleport units after death not inside FH, they go to their target, but from inside of FH, they got stuck! that's the reason! it is important.

Maybe, this works for US FH, i haven't checked, but RU FH behaves very strangely! only going through walls is a thing!

Did you try an area heal for AI to avoid them getting stuck?

what is area heal?

I will rewrite these several scripts into one (using a flag to store my action id = what stage I am at), and echeck if it works or not. Maybe it is cause by move command from different scripts and makes conflicts?...

To check if an AI is inside an area and heal them (if that is your goal) via scripting.

Does a2 not have closed medic tents like OFP? Cannot remember. :)

well, I can say, that I have modified my old scripts, and found that two scripts were blocking each other. I rewrote those scripts into only one script, as I wanted, and now AIs can move well.

But one problem of Warfare Field Hospital for Russia still exists: AI units use it very strangely, they go through walls and sandbags and don't use entrance! For US model, I haven't seen such thing.

So, if I could, I would like to modify the bug description to previous line about RU FH bug.
