Description

Since Chemlights size is even smaller, or just thinner, than a pistol magazine, I don't see why it should take a valuable slot of a rifle magazine or a grenade.

Allow Chemlights to be placed in the slot of map/GPS/watch/compass
or at least in the slots for the pistol magazine.

(I think it should even be allowed to take 2 chemlights in one slot ,but not sure it's possible).

True, in terms in playability and realism, it should be two per slot in the pistol slots. Considering how few the uses for them there are, and how minute the effect they give off, it shouldn't affect playability to allot players to carry quite a few. In fact, marking LZs for helos at night often takes about 15 depending on how many helos are landing. (Assuming they are assembled in the real-life markings for LZs)

Not sure if you can put multiple items of the same type in the item slots. At least I'm not able to pick up more than one map and gps. In missions where they are required, wouldn't you (or at least, some) also get backpacks to carry? If they can be packed, I don't see the problem. Using 1/8 of a space is worse than using 1/12 of a space.

I'm not for or against, except that item slots might be problematic.

what isn't possible?
Giving 2 slots position? -it wasn't the main issue.

the main issue is moving it from Weapons slot to a non ammo slot like the map gps watch slots, or at least move it to the Pistol mag/HuntIR slots.

It is not clear why is it rejected.

You cannot throw them then anymore, when moved to non weapon slot.

Sorry for the bump...
But you can put chemlights in a weapon slot as you require, as already said, into the pistol magazine slot.
its less valuable than SMAW or other main weapon slot.

Thanks. Switched to pistol slots. Confirmed still throwable.
