Using #Includes to add features to ace_config.hpp
Instead of replacing ace_clientside_config.hpp and thus deleting any customizations in it, use it as a main file where features are added to, having an include of a custom_client.hpp included. That way the changes don't get rolled back by rsync. New features get added to the ace_clientside_config.hpp (possibly via includes themselves).

The changes aren't rolledback by rsync anyway.
userconfig/ace/*** is never touched, except when it doesn't exist, it will be copied from @ace/userconfig/***
The suggestion is interesting though, goodluck VM.

A feature in the updater to detect a change in the shipped config fire and then allow the player to merge in the features with their version would be worth thinking about.
