Implement "Instant switch to Hand-Grenade/Smokes incl Throw-Mode " via Hotkey
Now you have to toggle thru your whole loadout and if you are too fast you need to toggle thru all the stuff again and get easily killed during that time without doing anything else than "senseless toggling". ;-)
It would be great if we could assign a direct hotkey for Handgrenades and standard white smokes at least. Pressing the according hotkey should make the player instantly switching to the according grenade-type already in "Throw-mode", releasing the key should throw the grenade. Mouse is just beeing used to ajdust height and direction. So no "toggling" and "mouse-click" is required to throw a grenade.
Of course, if no grenades are left nothing should happen on the specific hotkeys or a message should show up saying "nothting to throw left"...

but i guess we can continue to discuss as it looks like the issue is still a live one for peeps. All I say is, if you want to see instant throw hell, just join a COD4 multiplayer server and watch what happens with insta-grenades in the opening seconds of any map.

CoolBox your argument is flawed.
On the one hand it is not about removing the animation to throw,
on the other let me ask you if rifles grenades are a problem?
If your point would be correct, they would be even more of a problem
even as of now. Are they - no.
Toaster you may want to add the related ticket from CB AAS or the diff
just to make it clear that most of the coding was already done.
It just needs to be adapted to AAS core.

1. I don´t want to drop a single thing from the current Kits or change how they work or behave.
2. I never talked about removing any kind of animation.
I only ask for an easier way of control/handling for using handgrenades to get rid of the "toggle-/Mouseclick" crap that ArmA2 currently offers and whoever wants to use it, still should be able to it. Both tickets are about improving basically the same thing, but this is a different aproach I would say.
