Question about revision a514a (space scan blocking)

How does space scan block work? Is it the same that goes on in Domination? I checked and found myself able to still space scan, so I guess it's not implemented yet.

Although I fully agree in it's intents and purposes, we (my squad) end up with a problem:
One of our players uses space to shoot. I know, laugh all you want, but he refuses to change. Used for years etc...
I modified Domination so that this feature was always on, but had to make a params_array exception for the times that he was joining us.

So, if it blocks only the scan part of spacebar, but doesn't block the keypress, I have no worries.

But if it blocks the keypress (like in Domination), it means he cannot shoot, he cannot play, we loose a key player, or have to play without ACE (in which case I will be the one leaving). If this is the case, is it possible to make it default on, but can be tweaked by mission editing? Or is it feared that too many would turn off this rather important feature? Honestly, I fear it will be misused myself.

It removes the TEXT you usually get when SPACEBAR (or MOUSWHEEL moved as groupleader) is activated which shows you the "magic range".

So all it does, is removing the range display (Rangefinder obsolete before)

Sadly it also removes the TEXT for unit names. So as replacement you now have to scroll with your mousewheel when pointing over a unit, to recognize its name.

Bloody hell, that sounds just excellent. The name issue is not really an issue, for me at least. Will this be activated in todays update?
