Description

When you do a tactical reload (i.e. you reload before you shot out your last round), you are supposed to have a bullet left in the chamber.

This has not been simulated since OFP:CWC.

NOTE: Before you gonna do an all-too-quick hack about this, remember that MGs do not expose this, since any bullets left are removed along with the bullet chain.

If this is implemented, please make it configurable. Not all weapons work the same way.

NOTE2: If you go even more realisic, include the requirement of pulling back the lever/carriage or to release it (depending on the weapon) after reloading when shot out.

Infiltration's tactical vs combat reload anims.

Offtopic: I learned to avoid combat reloads during MOUT in Infiltration the hard way, the extra time required for chambering the bullet got me killed way too many times :)

Despite of my NOTE2, I realized that potentially in the ArmA2 ultra-quick reload, I think the lever is always pulled back, but it's not clear because it's one reload animation for all the rifles.

I know AKs can be reloaded really fast and then the ArmA2 animation would be sufficient, but pulling the lever should be a requirement only when you're shot out.

Maybe for OA we'll get individual reload animations/manipulation for each weapon, but for now at least the bullet accounting should be correct (okay, I guess if you do a lock-and-load everytime, you eject the bullet remaining in the chamber, but if you're a pro at reloading the weapon like all the soldiers in ArmA2, you would never do that).

By the way, the loaded magazines should not take space in the inventory anymore but rather become property of weapon. See #23430

Guess this ticket should be moved to A3 CIT.
