Subfolders in the MPMissions directory

Currently, to my knowledge, all mission files on a dedicated server need to be directly inside the missions folder, which makes it rather awkward to use and update when there are a lot of missions in it.
It would be nice if it was possible to organize the mission files into sub-directories, meaning that Arma2 needs to scan these too for available missions. Maybe restrict it to two levels deep.

Good request. I'm surprised there aren't more votes for this.
With missions packs containing anywhere from 10, 30 up to 70 missions per pack, the mpMissions folder is just so untidy. The mission listbox is extremely long and unmanagable, but with some simple sub folder grouping, it could be much more managable and user friendly.
The surprising thing is that BIS have implemented sub folders for SP Scenarios ("Single Missions") already, so the implementation logic would be almost the same for MP.
"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\missions\My sub folder\sub level 2" works fine.

I want to mention another important facet of this:
The time it takes for the game/server to process all of the mission files' meta-data. (ex: mission name) It must depbo the file, parse description.ext/mission.sqm, and the time really adds up. You can test the time it takes by running a mission, then log in and do #missions. Note the time it takes from when you typed it to when you get the list.. this is the time it is taking to generate the list. It does not cache the data. This ultimately limits how many missions you can have on the server, since the wait time grows with each one. If subfolders existed, the game could intelligently query only the missions in that subfolder you clicked. It's a shoddy solution to the wait issue, but it is simple to implement.

excellent idea, especially for sorting @mod required missions
maybe best approach would be to have BIS Vanilla missions in root and all -mod required missions to be held in either
Loading root mpmissions folder and a sub folder defined in the config parameters

I really hope to see this implemented soon as my MPMissions folder is a mess!
I also wonder why only @mod\addons folders are implemented and not also @mod\MPMissions and @mod\Missions, as then we could keep missions that are designed for specific mods in the mod folder and then if that mod isn't enabled, those missions wouldn't even show up, eliminating the chance of trying to play it when the necessary mods aren't available?

Perhaps the use of sub-folders in Campaigns could be looked at as well as part of this fix, as that doesn't seem to be working properly http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?139162-Campaigns-in-sub-folders-not-displaying-in-selection-screen forcing me to have to move some of the campaigns back into the main folder?

Any word on this? It would be very nice to have. Currenly, the server takes a lot of time reading a huge mission folder. It would be great if we could split them up (eg by addons used)
Maybe it would be even better that the @addon folders would get a MPmissions folder each, so you only load the missions that go with this addon (think CWR, ACE, FDF, islands, etc).
