Platoons should have rank limited slots: either in the platoon description there is a 'minimum rank' array that corresponds to the listed units, or the unit types themselves are hard limited to a certain rank.

This restriction is important to limit the support options that are granted to certain unit slots in the platoon.

Players may not select a unit if the unit's rank is higher than their own. Each platoon definition now includes a 'ranks' array that specifies the needed rank for every individual unit.

As an aside, players also may not spawn until they have been in the deployment menu until the next reinforcement wave, which occurs every 30 or so seconds (can be defined in scenario def). The wave is calculated on the client and does not require extra network traffic. (time + ((GameLength-time) mod ReinforcementInterval)
