Description

The infected are much faster than survivors, yet as long as a survivor is running the infected will never be able to damage him as upon catching the survivor the infected stops to attack, misses, and then the cycle repeats.

Suggestion: Arma2 can support simulataneous animations, i.e. reloading while running, hand signals etc. Make the attack animation only use the top half of the body so that the running animation can still be played.

In my opinion this is the currently the biggest bug in the game.

You also have the survivor side of this, make the survivor able to reload and shoot while running.

Survivors already can reload while running...
You can shoot while walking, shooting while running is not part of the arma2 engine and will not ever be implemented in any iteration of it (it's a mil sim).

When I said run, I meant on the move and shooting instead of having to stop to shoot while being chased and 'attacked' by x number of Zeds.

I know what you meant.
I did say "shooting while running", isn't that what you just said (twice now)?
My response is the same, engine limitations.

This would be really handy as the delay to get your gun up after running nearly always means getting a smack from the zombie

Hi. would there be any chance that we ever would see weapon changes while running or is this a limit problem as well?

This is a limitation of the ARMA2 engine (you can't shoot while running, you have to stop to take aim. Zombie / survivor Melee attacks simulates the same principle than a firearm ).
Low are the chances that this changes anytime soon.
