Description

Placed explosives like Satchel charges and IEDs are way too powerful ingame for their weight and damage values, a satchel charge[classname: PipeBomb] will wreck an M1A2 TUSK even if the satchel is to the side of the tank and the tank is not directly on top of it, a small IED[BAF_ied_v1] will do the same deal to a M1A2 TUSK which makes no sense when looking at its config:

The ammo type used is actually ACE_PipebombExplosion, with hit=800, indirectHit=700, and indirectHitRange = 4, so it's somewhat more powerful than stated.
Curiously the config browser reports the weight as 2.24kg, while it's 9.6 in-game.
That's probably still too little to seriously hurt an MBT though. Possibly set minetype to 1?

Please keep in mind that Satchels are used for the destruction of buildings, objects and vehicals for Co-op and PvP missions so decreasing the damage may not be the best approach.

The weight change happened during the last updates, before it was 2,4 kg.

And to be honest, i would like to see explosives in packages of 500 gram and 1 kg with the ability to create custom charges out of them.

Satchel would stay in the game as an already prepared demo charge.

If all that is not possible, change back the weight to a reasonable value even if you have to decrease the power a bit; 9,6 kg is ridiclious.

It is an already prepared 20lbs demo charge. Alternatively bring lots of M112 charges with you and prep your own charge with them

Would reducing the weight and power slightly to support existing missions/etc properly, while creating a new ACE Pipe with the increased weight and power?
From a compatibility standpoint that sounds like a good idea.

Wold be good to return old weight (and power if be changed) for PipeBomb, and make new item with large weight and power, for better compability of missions

Weight reduced to 9.1 kg. Weight reflects damage done according to some posts before.
Since we will not suit everyone, issue busted.
If you have better suggestions, send (working) proof of concepts to me.
