Description

It is as it explains, markers created on the map through the direct communications channel will be persistent to all the people that received the marker, through server restarts and other things.

I actually don't think this is achievable through ArmA 2 it's self. Only persistence for markers you can get are pre-placed markers through the editor. Could be wrong, Rocket may be able to 'magically surprise us'.

Is it possible to limit who can see map markers to players that are within direct communication range? As it stands now any markers added can be seen by any player on the server. This is fine for ArmA2 when you're dealing with troops that have digitcal data-links for transmitting data and such. But not so much for DayZ. The model for DayZ should be people in close proximity huddled over a map together... thus, limiting it to direct channel proximity only would be great.
