Description

Add ability (config param) to multiple draging for boats!
ace_push&drag = 0/1;
ace_push&drag_req = amount of requred peoples;
Some like this ;)!

Sorry maby a wrong place about ask about this, but cant find Any info about how for addon makers make a small boats are pushable?!
For exapmle you can push Zodiac and PBX, but nowhere in config files I cant find params about this, and cant find how set push velocity for new maded boat.
Please tell me here requred params and tips HOW make a boat pushable, and how set velocity.

Propose: add ability to put in vehicle config paramers about this;
ace_pushable=0/1;
ace_push_velocity = (velocity amount);

Second research: I try to do that - 

class CfgVehicles {
class Zodiac (or RubberBoat);
    class MySmallBoatName : Zodiac(or RuberBoat) {bla bla bla config params};
};
Now in game I have "Push %1" position in interaction menu, but when I try push my boat, he moving only by 10mm :), hot have difference in water or on ground, very bad, but Zodiac moving perfecly (my boat have flat, default hull).
Boat weight 2000 (Zodiac have 2000 too, and dont have LandContact LOD, my boat too).

Currently Zodiac and PBX are hardcoded: https://dev-heaven.net/projects/ace-mod2/repository/revisions/develop/entry/Addons/sys_cargo/XEH_preInit.sqf#L60

Acceleration depends on weight of the vehicle currently: https://dev-heaven.net/projects/ace-mod2/repository/revisions/develop/entry/Addons/sys_cargo/fnc_push.sqf#L12

I suppose in light of 3rd party addon support these hard-codings could be converted to config properties instead.

Thank you Sickboy, realy posible to convert hard-scripts in two config params, as CanCargo etc. ?!
If it happend in short time, you guys, make a good deal for community, because someone prepare a great small boats addon! :)
If posible or you can, make a push params as universal for all vehicles (addonmakers can add this params for any vehicle, new atvs, bicycles or small tracked(wheeled) vehicles)! :)

If so, these are RHIB style boats. Only PBX and Zodiac are meant to be pushable.

Sorry Rocko not this :)

i try different inheritance, yes my boat now have a Push action (when I inherit it as Zodiac), BUT, pushing this very bad (10cm per push)
Note: I keep all required model and geolod rules...

Realy requesting add config params for other vehicles, have sense to make it universal ;)

There was no intent to make boats pushable. At least not RHIB (and bigger) boat types. Only PBX and Zodiac because often enough I experienced someone driving the boat out of the water without any chance to get it back in.
There is currently no ambition in making a general "Push boat" type interaction menu.

What about doing it with a set amount of people near by? say 3 people in range of 3 meters of the vehical (2 people could be able to push a unarmored HMMWV, ect) and it would either 'bump' for boats or put them in a pushing animation at the side of the vehical.

Hmm, though where does it stop is a issue, smaller groups of players may have issues performing simple tasks, larger groups will be less effective in some cases (insted of sending one person to move ammo box to set up a FOB you need to send 5 people from your two fireteams while they could be off doing other work) maybe its best just the leave it, less work for you as well to focus on bugs and such.

As said, pushable boats - no. Transporting heavier stuff with multiple people - maybe.
