Hi this time i had a CTD no error message. New RPT

Updated by Fireball about 3 years ago

a) dumps are always needed for a crash
b) there is no crash/exception in the RPT listed either

i have the game running in the background in window mode while im doing those commands.

First of all, if you're going to do manual dumps, you'll have to start a cmd as Administrator, what you're obviously not doing.

Second, WHY would you want to do a full dump? What happened? Game locked up with excessive memory usage? How much process memory is used?

First of all, if you do two different types of dumps you should name them differently (not both "crash.dmp").

Second, if you attach procdump using -e and -ma it will create a dump only if it crashes in this time. If you want to create a dump of a running process you don't need to specify -e.

More important: What is exactly the problem and how do you reproduce it? Does it always happen?
