Description

You can destroy entire walls of brick houses by shooting enough (non-penetrating) 7.62 rounds at a single point. This shouldn't happen.

Isn't there some script feature called minimalhit that could require calibers higher than 14.5mm in order to damage the structure?

In addition, I don't believe that 12.7mm rounds should knock over entire section of brick and concrete walls so easily. Neither should shaped charge launchers destroy them.

Can we assign XEHs to objects like walls etc.?
I think not, AFAIK most of these objects do not have a config but are crude models that are placed via VISITOR on the map.

Could we just increase the hitpoints, then?

RPGs shouldn't knock over whole panels of brick walls.

It's simple: no config = no fixes

Yet someone needs to figure out what object do have a config and therefore could be altered.

Just tested.

There are some wall elements that do have a config. The most common wall on Takistan/Zargabad does not.
We can increase the hitpoint on all the walls that have a "gate" in them. But it would look stupid if the gated walls withstand more damage than their "solid" counterparts.

My advice, BIS should make a config for every fucking map object they put in A3 (if not already) so we can alter them. So go make a CIT ticket, if you like.

No chance in A2.
