Description

When A unit is in the kneeling position and reloading sometimes the unit goes prone before the reload animation has finished.

Reproduction
not always easy as to see as it happens randomly (happens even less in beta 86194, maybe due to them not kneeling as much)

Observation
Just watch the units firing on the Vehicle, as it happening much less it may need rerunning several times.

Expected
Units should finish the reload animation before going prone.

Thing is, of course, if they meant to go prone for an emergency reason, it's always supposed to interrupt reloading. For my part, as a player, I wouldn't like to be held in place until I completed reload anim.

I agree with Fireball. No bug/no good idea to change it the suggested way.

I think it probably should be rephrased, if it's only about some annoying AI behavior, which has a tendency to break reload animation for no real reason.

Well it is going prone to take cover - no good reason?

I cannot see a good way to predict reload to stance change behavior/situation.

Well AI is going prone as part of their combat mode (Danger, Stealth) kind of randomly and not only when it's really needed. So you could theoretically add a rule, that during reloading the AI shouldn't go prone, only because the combat mode behavior dictates it. This shouldn't apply to "under fire" conditions though, or when an enemy is freshly spotted.

PS: That said, this is going into details, where a fix is probably worth neither the effort nor the effect, seeing that any of such fixes could introduce new issues.

It isn't the most critical problem in the game that's for sure.

From a players point of view it's just a little ugly, I didn't know if it was just messed up or by design.
I thought you could just stop the reload go prone as normal and then restart the load from the prone position, if these animations don't exist then yes I think it's to late in the day to start adding new ones.
