Should it?

I wouldn't be surprised, the DAGR and the AN/PEQ-1 both have RS-422 data link ports.

I haven't seen any specific documentation on it though.

From what I've read, the US Army and USMC JTACs and FOs use the AN/PED-1, a laser rangefinder/designator capable of generating GPS/elevation/azimuth coordinates and also direct CAS assets with an integrated IR Pointer. And it can also transmit all of its data to other assets operating on the same BluFor net.
Unfortunately such a system is not present in ArmA, and JTACs/FOs have to make do with the AN/PEQ-1 SOFLAM, a laser designator designed to be portable and relatively lightweight, and as such missing most of the features other ground laser designators assigned to JTAC/FO teams would have, potentially making it harder in game to direct CAS than it would be in real life.
Now, the AN/PEQ-1 can be linked to other systems (like FLIR cameras), so there's the possibility of it being linkable to the DAGR in real life, but even if it couldn't, allowing it to be connected with a DAGR would make it possible to "close the gap" between what JTAC/FOs have in game and what they would have in real life.

But it would not be correct, right?

Dunno Rocko, but at the moment we don´t have AN/PED-1 which leaves quiet a gap.
As a player you don´t have much choices with the current inventory.
Vector: rnngefinder + compass, combination with DAGR and leight-weight BUT no LD
Soflam: rangefinder + compass, LD and quiet heavy BUT no DAGR

A Soflam combined with DAGR would not be overpowered and the Vector still has it´s place in the inventory.

Totally agreed, signed and supported.

I think it'd be nice if the DAGR could also connect to other systems that have range finders like the DAGR AH-6 (... confusing acronym namespace clash there... :P) or Kiowa or FISTV since that seems to be the case in a lot of systems, that at least the older PLGR+ and PLGR II could do that.

I don't have any hard evidence - but I have spoken to a FO and read forums that indicate the DAGR can be connected to the SOFLAM. Ideally we would have a field manual for it,but I was unable to find it.
