Description

When looking at the moon, it will rotate if you move the mouse. Added an example video.

Repro steps

  1. Create a mission on Chernarus
  2. Set weather to be 70% stormy and 70% clear of fog
  3. Aug 18 1999, 1930h
  4. Look closely at the moon
  5. Rotate your camera very slightly while looking at moon

Expected behavior

The unobstructed appearance of the moon should not change based on the player's position on a given map.

Actual behavior

The moon rotates noticably, without changing position.

Yes, and in the latest beta patch 59210 too.

I was still able to reproduce the bug in Arma2 1.07.71750.

See attached test mission. Look up at the moon and move the mouse left and right. Moon still rotates.

Fixed in 71815 - there was a kind of gimbal lock in computation of moon orientation while keeping the "billboard" oriented towards the camera.
