This is a problem when placing and especially disarming (picking it up again),
as you will get a satchel charge class object instead.

Have had a similar issue with OA's IED type satchel objects reverting to standard Satchel charges but will investigate a fix for this.

Yup. BI forgot some definitions too..

So the cfgVehicles entry will allow the placed charges and mines to be recovered? That's great news... are there any tricks to setting up the cfgVehicles entry (eg: does it have to have the same classname as the ammo, or the magazine, etc).

The PMC IED should be defined correctly: http://pastebin.jonasscholz.de/1428

Link just shows a blank paste bin, if you can provide a working example can see about fixing ours, without one there's not much I can do.

Look at the BI configs please. It is really simple.

bis' satchel charges have this entry: defaultMagazine = "magazineclassname" in the ammo class. I guess that's it?

Uploaded the PMC IED definition again: http://pastebin.jonasscholz.de/1551
Just make sure you cover all four (cfgAmmo, cfgMagazines, cfgWeapons and cfgVehicles)
