Description

Repacking magazines action is too quick. Currently it takes about 2 seconds.
It should take 90 sec or in that kind of vicinity.

Best way is to take in consideration of the rounds that you are repacking and adjust the time taken for repacking according to it.

Yep it is definetly not sth you should be able to do during a battle.

I would use the size of the magazine to determine the time, just like the size of the injury determines the time for healing.

The time should range from sth btw, 10sec for a pistol mag up to 60 Seconds for one MG mag.

There should be an indicator for when one process has been finished and the next mag swap is starting.

You should be able to cancel the progress between the actions

The linking of machine gun belt might not take much time as you'd expect though.
Although I have not liked a machine gun belt before my self, it might even take less time than repacking a whole M9 pistol magazine.
Who knows? I mean, does anyone know?

maybe make this option only available if u are close to a Ammocreate?
i think with then is the time no problem... cause u dont have 2 mutch creates in the battlefield.
else we have to check to many parameters...

I think a simple 10-15 seconds action would be more than enough: when repackaging the soldier wouldn't be able to move and be quite vulnerable, but this is also a game so a little leeway should be allowed.
Maybe make a module that allows repackaging only when near an ammocrate/vehicle?

Sure packing one mag takes time, but man can pack few mags at same time. What about it?! I think packing few magz one by one compensate time paking without tweak.

Packing really doesn't take that much time. It's certainly not a 5 second affair, but neither does it take anything close to 90 seconds. In fact, I generally find it takes longer to pack pistol mags (Glock mags are a real PITA) than standard stanag rifle mags. AK style mags are a little tougher though, and I generally always carry a tool to pull the follower plate down on them if I have my Modified SKS or WASR out.

As far as belt fed mags, I've never actually had to pack or repack them, so I can't say on that.

MG belts are easy: its almost as easy as putting one of them paperclip things on a stack of paper.

200rnd SAW boxes can be a royal pain to open sometimes, though. the 100rnd pouches use a simple zipper and are quite easy to use. the 240 and 60 just clip an actual ammocan to the weapon, iirc, though often the 240 is carried with the belt loose to ease the linking of belts in a firefight.

Implemented. The overall time depends on the amount of mags and their capacity. It takes 12 seconds per 1 x 30 rnd mag. During the process you should not move or change stance. There is a progress indicator. Due to the realization it is impossible to do the repacking gradually, it is done all mags at once, so if you interrupt the process at any moment, even at 99%, the repacking will not have happened and your mags layout will stay as it was.

Just something I wanted to add, is it possible to take away the pistol and add it after the main weapon when repacking, even if the pistol mags are not repacked?

My reason is because if you have a pistol and you repack your main weapon, you will automatically get switched to your pistol but it will teel you that you still have your main weapon selected, which results in 3-4 weapon swaps before it is alligned correctly, which is incredibly annoying when in a potential combat situation, I know there are limitations to sqf or fsm scripting, but this should be possible shouldn't it?

Should be fine now.
