Kestrel Whether Meter upgrade?
|Target version:||Arma 3|
Sometime recently, Kestrel and Horus teamed up and included Horus's Ballistic software in the latest Kestrel whether meter. It's also capable of bluetooth connections, capable of connecting to GPS and bluetooth enabled Vector rangefinders to provide an all in one package for ballistics calculations for marksmen.
Any chance we can see an upgrade soon?

Can it read the wind in multiple speed types aka km/h, mp/h and m/s?

Yup. Another feature I'd really like to see.
And another feature I know that the horus software does is easy input adjusted elevation distance calculations as well, but I've no idea if the kestrel with the horus software is capable of that.

i found a manual on the Internet.
maybe this helps. and bring light in the new features.

I don't think the ATRAG calculator would make much sense without a Horus reticle. However, a ballistic calculator, like a PDA, would be nice. Connecting the Kestrel via Blutooth in-game to the PDA and simulate the calculations based on interpolation. No need for exact calculations since the ballistic system in ArmA is not affected by all factors (and I doubt ArmA 3 will simulate atmospheric influence on ballistics).
Would be awesome though if height alters pressure levels (density altitude simulation).
The Kestrel could be placed on a tripod with a vane and update wind speed/direction/cross wind constantly (maybe as a little HUD element like the arrow just with numbers?) On the other hand, I am not able to eyeball my kestrel and target at the same time, even with both eyes open (spotter duty).
The Kestrel should auto calibrate, as mine does (4500NV BT)
I support the idea of being able to switch between units.
I'd like to contribute, but am not sure if I am of any help since I am not into coding. But snipery stuff and accessoires are my strong suit.
