Description

Performance significantly drops when flying from the mainland and going over the sea and large bodies of water (stutters, motion blur). New Nvidia drivers 185.85 seem to have solved the issue to an extent.

Experiencing the same issue with Radeon 3870X2, Catalyst 9.6.

I have a new strange "lag" every 5 seconds (or so...) when flying over the ocean on my new i7 920 computer (hyperthreading OFF), something I didn't have on my old PC. Apart from this, Arma2 really likes my new computer.

I have the same ATI 4890 card I had in my old PC without this issue. I'm running Windows 7 x64 RC, and I have the newest drivers.

Possibly addressed in 1_03 Optimization: Reduced frame stutter near map borders.

Please feedback

Edit: alef: changed the link to 1.03

Need further testing, but I really feel the FPS issues near water has disappeared indeed.
