Description

just a quick problem, I tested the MP7 it does about 0.09 damage at 100 meters and 0.14 damage at 30 meters, compared to the MP5 which does 0.36 damage at 100 meters. I'm in a rush, I will provide a repro mission later.

mission is attached, it's nnot made by me and I take no credit for it, all you have to do for repro is load the mission on utes, use scroll menu, hit "select weapon" it will load up a list from there, choose the MP7, set the range and hit the human target, recommend a range of 30 meters, give or take 20.

The round is still way too weak, it still takes 5 shots to kill at 30 meters, it should do more damage than the MP5, and it should still hurt at 200 meters, really at the moment the gun is still useless, considering it also has more recoil on the gun, when it should be balanced (to a degree) and the round is small caliber, still needs to be fixed, here's some info on it. Don't forget that e.g with wounds enabled, the units also bleed to death, and that body armor is involved.

without wounds (what this ticket is about) MP7 kills in 2 shots

with wounds is a seperate issue, and i'm looking into the body armour formula already

I was playing Domination and shot a Russian from 20-30 meters away, he was standing up, but it still took 5 shots to kill without hitting the legs and hitting the upper chest repeatedly, and ACE wounds wasn't on for the AI, so I assume it is still underpowered, I will test it tonight again.

There is no MP7 in the magic box either. :(

It's supposed to be a better caliber in terms of wounding than the 5.7 used in the P90. So taking that into consideration (if you believe in it) it should do quite a bit of damage and tumble within the body. Quite substantial penetration.

Also another significant difference is the game MP7's effectiveness is about 30 meters, but technically the bullets effectiveness goes up to 200 meters, i know that in real life it would be hard to line up a shot like that with a smal weapon, but the range could at least be 100 meters.

I know what you said, and I know what I said. Place yourself as a German unit, place a Magic Box, enjoy your MP7. The contents of the Magic Box change depending on your faction.
