You should try to fix your shaders issues first.

Please ask in the BI forum for support.

I don't have any shader issues inside game. If you are talking about error messages in RPT file -
Error 15 reading file 'w:\c_branch\poseidon\arrowhead\lib\d3d9\ShaderSources_3_0\PS.hlsl
then I don't know what they mean.

Happened to me too on Dogs Of War mission which is on Chernarus map and includes some Warfare elements.
Was using patch 1.57.77159 and playing multiplayer cooperative with 1-3 friends.

The first time it appeared like this:

Out of memory (requested 1024 KB).
foorprint 989462528 KB.
pages 49152 KB.

And after playing 1h 49 minutes again:

Out of memory (requested 0 KB).
foorprint 099235328 KB.
pages 49152 KB.

Same processor Q9950 btw. but WinXP and nVidia GPU and only 4GB system RAM. Vipera, filling "GPU VRAM size:" might be important here. Since I cannot believe it is your 8GB system RAM that goes "out of memory".

Longest free VM region still over 1 GB - address space fragmentation or real lack of memory is out of question.

I have now played 3 whole evening sessions of Dogs Of War (Chernarus + warfare)and received total of 8 "Out Of Memory"-crashes. Last 2 happened when I savegamed. It seems that approximately every 4th savegame fails because before it finished "Out of memory" happens. So it could be a memory leak that is increasing and when 4th save happens it cannot handle it anymore and crashes. After that I again re-launch the game, so memory is cleared.

Suma, to make me understand this issue better, plese explain if VM in "Longest free VM region" means Virtual Memory (pagefile?) or Video Memory (graphics card RAM)?

It seems about virtual memory (= pagefile). See the related tickets.

Vipera seems to have 4GB pagefile and Longest free VM region of about 1.3GB when "Out of memory" happens.
I have 6GB pagefile (fixed size) and Longest free VM region of about 1-16MB when "Out of memory" happens.

Vipera has 8MB system RAM + 4GB pagefile in Win7 64, so I see no reason why there would not be enough memory.
I have 4GB system RAM + 6GB pagefile in WinXP 32 (that does not even understand much more than 3GB RAM) so maybe I really literally run out of memory...

Anyway why won't the game just do automatic flush or freeze the screen and while freezed, clear all the memory it needs instead of crashing.

Suma is looking into it from what I understand. Look at the source ticket: #16099.
