M1A2 Loader seat, direction of observation

There is no way of deciding where you are looking. In real life, as the prism just moves around, you know where you are looking in relation to the turret, because you have to turn around in the turret too. Now, when you only have 1st person sight, and you cant see turret, you are completely disoriented. Some kind of indicator about your FOV and the turret would be much appreciated, as in real life. Perhaps a static image of the turret to the top left, so you know the enemy is in 12 o'clock in relation to the turret.

Or perhaps give the ability to use a compass.

Does the game permit the ability to just simply use a compass inside the vehicle when in the loader seat? That would just erase the problem for the most part, as you could check the bearings.

Or perhaps just give the loader the ability to use the same bearings in the green box in the upper part of screen as everyone else has the access to, as in real life the loader has a lot better situational awareness, and thus won't be unrealistic.

Is this still a BIS / Engine problem, now that the humvees and APC's have gotten the Digital Compass? Would it be possible to get it now to the M1 loader? The guy is practically useless when turned in due to the disorientation.
