Description

Hi,

it would be nice if artillery pieces and guns like the ZU23 were towable, as the ingame models already sport towing bars and wheels.
This would help greatly in relocation, especially in missions like warfare.

Cheers

That would be awesome, because artillery pieces aren't really cheap.

The following BI-Thread mentions some script out there: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=106694

Just detected the "[R3F] Artillery and Logistic" map script [http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9285], which features towable and liftable artillery. Maybe you can contat the developer to get the needed code for towing. Maybe its also interesting to include the script as a whole.

IIRC they don't share. The problem is also not unable to implement it, but not agreeing to the way it can only be implemented;
It looks wrong/bad iirc.

VBS2 does support vehicle towing and ropes, but I guess ARMA2 has its limits:

VBS also makes physical use of ropes.

I'd just ask these guys for a script snippet. Then again, mission makers can just do it themselves.
