Description

As of now, there's no way for AMD/ATi users to disable VSYNC without installing 3rd party programs on their PC and even then it's not fully working. And unless you have a very high end PC this is going to dramatically decrease the gameplay experience from AMD/ATi users.

No such setting in Catalyst Control Center? I almost can't believe that...

Of course there is a setting, but it is not capable of overriding the game settings.

I thought there is no game setting? Do other people also experience that problem with AMD/ATI and VSync? Please vote.

There is a setting VSYNC=ON but it is not in the options so you can't change the setting.

From the inofficial changelog of the latest BETA patch:

[73670] Option to disable V-sync(Vertical synchronization) in arma2oa.cfg
add line to arma2oa.cfg file
vsync=0; //disabled
or
vsync=1; //default enabled

Happy? :-)

I'm asking you to confirm that the vsync disable works for you, the other issue has its own ticket and is out of the scope here.
