Category:CWR replacement
Target version:-

When using CWR mod soldiers using LAW rockets aim higher than needed to hit a target,
almost like they think they have a Javelin..

I have observed this many times and it only happens with CWR LAW's - maybe they're LAW guidance or AI is messed up.

Strangely, RPG's seem unaffected......

Does it happen with non CWR (just OAC) too?

Maybe their LAW model is buggy. Config seems quite ok.

I suspect their law model, I tested with no CWR loaded and AI LAW fire was accurate, they aimed for centre of mass of the target, wherea as with CWR LAW's they aim above the target as if its a top attack munition. ( designed to detonate above the target where armour is sometimes weaker )...

Nothing I can do about the model apart from disabling it.

What about P85 LAW?

Updated by Mopar about 8 years ago

Best test mission for LAW accuracy is RED_WeaponTest or RED_Elimination... Without CWR AI troops easily kill a BRDM with M136's ( cwr not loaded so LAWS are M136's )

With CWR loaded AI has a difficult time killing 1 little old BRDM, they keep firing above it. ie over its head.....

Haven't tested P85 LAW's yet, I will do testing and advise..
