While projects is a project overview and mainly an
eye and attention catcher for the projects for new guys/non devs,

We need a way to quickly access all projects.

Jump to is only to projects you are member.
Yet we also need a second jump to any project (apart from private).

Just in between of Search and jump to.

Would adding all non private projects to the existing "jump to" drop list be acceptable?

To add another drop list that effectively replicates the existing one, will also make the page more cluttered in my opinion.

Well due to the height of the banner there is easily enough space below
the existing jump to for another.

We already had a 2nd left to it. Yet Sickboy didn't port it.

To me a jump to feature to jump to any project (I have access to) would
help a lot in navigation.

Right now I am using "dh STRING" to activate the search of DH via FF
to find a project. Ugly.

Also the drop down box should show all projects in one go.
Right now due to the number of projects, I have a scroll bar and only the first
10-15 items listed.

Ok, if the existing drop list is increased from 20 items to 30, it should render ok on 1024x768, but would still probably need a scroll bar which is necessary to prevent non selectable items off screen. The list filter can also be changed to include all non private projects.

A new drop list named "Jump to my project" can be added directly below the existing one and be filtered to only include projects that the member is a member of essentially a copy of the existing one with a different name. Again a 30 item list with scroll bar.
