Due to higher ambient temperatures during the day, (especially in hot regions), the thermal sights should have much lower contrast between surroundings and humans.

This could be done simply by reducing contrast and increasing brightness from dawn to midday and back towards the evening

There was a ticket by me on the ACE DH Issue tracker, which generated a lot of interesting responses. This should help in case u guys need further reference material:

A start would be to allow contrast and pp effects to affect TI vision, as this does not seem to be the case right now.

To attach new screenshots is welcome.

There are plenty in the thread I posted. Do you want me to attach them to this thread?

Right now the state of the TI is really wonky, I understand that BI want to show off their new system and arguably its not that bad for vehicle mounted systems (but still too good).
That said, especially for weapon mounts all possiblity flies out of the window as the signal to noise is rediculous for such a system.

There are screenshots of 1.54?

Indeed this is the best place to provide the info.

Mixed, there are screenshots from the game and from real systems in the thread I posted.
Game tests were done prior 1.54 tho, but nothing changed I checked it just now, same crystal clear visibility with a handheld system at 1,5 km on June 26th noon.
