Hello guys,

This is an Arma 1 bug (feature?) in which infantry will waste a precious AT Rocket on infantry when they still have plenty of ammo to fire with their rifle. Some fixes have been elaborated by the community, but most of them ended up breaking something else. For Arma 2, for example, there is a fix which has come out a few weeks ago, but if you use it the infantry will no longer engage the Vodniks with AT weapons, and instead will just uselessly fire their rifles at them.

Well, you can imagine the size of the tragedy when such encounter takes place, right? The Russian infantry won't engage the Abrams either when this fix is used.

The fix I am referring to is this one ==> http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=100396

So guys, this is something that has come along since Arma 1 and it's terrible to see your infantry waste those precious rockets at a single soldier. Therefore, is there a plan to fix this issue?

Thanks again for your great attention!!!

Best regards,

Thank you for reporting, but please read through the "how to ticket a bug" page again if you want a better response. Making the tickets short and clean with reproduction steps plus an example mission (especially in AI behaviour bugs) increases the chance of getting the issue looked at.

So please read this: http://dev-heaven.net/wiki/cis

Feedback timeout, ticket in unusable state. Also it's conflicting with #12060 too - so "bug" is in the eye of the beholder, as it seems.
