Description

The 'stepped zoom' i developed on the CASP has to be added and stuff...

Keyhandlers for keysettings from ACE userconfig
System for switching between following sightmodes:
GUS
GPS 3x
GPS 10x
GAS 7x(or smth.. doesnt matter atm)
GPSE 3x
GPSE 10x
(some other hidden ones for background stuff)

adjusting FCS and optics textures will be in another ticket
same with gunneroverride and driver optics(driver optics is a big 'maybe')

With stepped zoom being built into OA, is it worth it at this point?

Well, i play ACE2 and Arma2 .. so why should i care about OA now? When its out and ACE2 transfer to it, we will see... we dunno much about the optics in OA.. if we need to change then or if BIS uses the same paradigm to simulate 'stepped zoom' like i do .. ;)

I thought that view direction can be defined only by 3D model.
For example I attempted to change view direction on russian UAV without any success http://dev-heaven.net/issues/10043 It only can look forwards(

Vigilante, will you be able to add the effect whereby the reticule of the m1a1 gunsight moves left/right when leading a target, present in the arma 1 FCS mod and demonstrated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6cW2PW-YXg

jep, thats the idea... the M1A1 has the horizontally moving reticle whereas the newer systems have the sight mirrors also moving along that axis ie the whole sightpicture moves there not the reticle alone.

yoar, thanks... the 'old' one is the 'new' one.. almost .. not.. dunno... but its based on NWDs work and uses the same idea/principle. So the 'new' will be adapted at some point or branched or whatnot...

but first the commanders periscopes ;) ..
