Description

HUD in UH-1Y is too shiny / is not transparent enough, so using this is often annoying.

Long explanation: HUDs, for the most part are designed to be almost 100% transparent and otherwise only reflecting the light used in creating visual aids on the 'screen' (eg. targeting reticules, aircraft information etc.) the HUD clearly shouldn't be reflecting ambient light from outside the windows of the aircraft (physically speaking it shouldn't even be possible), the only reflection the HUD should display is of the device that creates the HUD information. since this object is (purposely) of a dark colour, it's not actually seen, and only the light patterns the device itself creates are visible.

Short Explanation: the HUD of the UH-1Y should be just as transparent as the HUDs of the A-10, AV-8b, and other aircraft, and it definitely should not be showing the reflections of sun, sky - anything, with the exclusion of the digital imagery created specifically for display on the unit.
