Description

In pmc fury _47_durras_dawn.Eden and others when using OAC and CWR soldiers using the law have a very low probability of hitting the target.

Test with OAC and CWR: 200m 4 law soldiers each fired 3 rounds and all missed the target. At 100m 4 law soldiers each fired 3 rounds and only one round out of 12 hit the target.

Test with vanilla Arma: 200m 4 law soldiers each fired 3 rounds and 75% hit the target. At 100m 4 law soldiers each fired 3 rounds and hit probability was close to 100%.

I have repeated the same tests with rpgs and the AI units are able to hit the target at 100 and 200 metres most of the time.

I also repeated the test with AI soldier firing LAW rockets and as before they had a miss rate of almost 100%. In most cases they were missing because the rockets were aimed too high and were exploding above the target.

The addons used for these tests were:
mod=beta;CWR;x\oac\oac_replacements_cwr;lowplants;@oacAddons;x\oac\oac_core;
(@oacAddons was used for SAP Everon)No AI modifying addons were used.

Die you try without CWR once?

Maybe the CWR LAW model is buggy?

What about using CWR standalone and LAW infantry vs tanks?

I tried without CWR - it may be my imagination, but they seemed slightly more accurate - 50% of the rockets hit the target at 100m.

I have also tried with vanilla arma (beta patch) with soldiers using the M136. At 100m the AT soldiers had a close 100% hit rate. At 200M they had about an 80% hit rate.

With the oac addon and with or without the CWR addon the AI units appear to frequently aim too high above the target. The OAC law seems to have a slow looping trajectory - perhaps this is what is messing up the aim of the AI soldiers.

Is it worth setting the Law to the same velocity as the vanilla M136 or that of the oac rpg? From what I can tell the max speed set in the oac addon for the LAW is maxSpeed = 96. this is pretty slow compared to the other rockets.
