Operation [island name] Fandango
Another TvT idea to kick around, sort of inspired by my airsofting days where the defending team is designed to be understrength. Play a round, then switch the teams and play again.
Team A are at an airbase, they have to defend it from Team B.
Team A have a certain time to organise their defences, they have brigade strength defences, so half a dozen tanks, a bunch of AA vehicles, some statics.
Team B have a number of preset jump off points, possibly including LHD, they can choose which they decide to use, possibly even electing to use 2 start points.
Team A don't respawn, but Team B do.
After the team switch, which ever team completes the base attack in the shortest time is adjudged the winner.

Another couple of brainwaves...
The timer only begins when attacking team fires the first shot, or suffers a casualty.
Should the attacking team have a supply line set back from their origin point. If defending team can destroy the supply line, attacking team's respawn is taken away. (not sure about this, defenders will always lose, it's just a matter of how long it takes that is important)
